Getting that 'Sound'
Hello, folks
I apologize for being so persistent on this topic, but I just gotta find a solution.
In this version of Chet's "Laredo" Jean Francois uses recording equipment that I assume must be used with a sound card and hence a computer. Does anybody out there know of the right classic guitar and pickup that I can use to get a sound something 'like' this ( without needing a PC !) . I Have a Kustom Tube 12 practice amp and have ordered a Danelectro spring reverb that might help a bit. I don't play Streets of Laredo but I can play Vincent and Siboney which are amplified in the same way . It would make playing these tunes a lot more fun I think. - Alan
