Yes... as does Gretsch, Sand, Martin, Taylor, and probably
all the "quality" guitar makers, etc.
This subject always reminds me of the old joke about the guy trying to sell a "
thousand dollar bird dog".
After running an ad in the local paper for weeks about the dog and receiving no inquiries, he received a call from a prospective buyer.
After the man calling introduced himself, he admitted that he did not actually have a thousand dollars, but he wanted to know if the seller would be willing to take five-hundred dollars in cash, plus a "
five hundred dollar cat" in payment?
The moral of this story is: "Value" is a relative term, and entirely dependent upon
who is determining that value, the seller, or the buyer!
In my personal "humble opinion", there is not a guitar on the face of the earth, "worth" $29,000.00 !
