Question for Peavey delta blues owners

I was curious if a nylon string would sound ok out of this amp.
specifically a Godin ambience duet... i know a acoustic amp would be better
but i wonder if a nylon would sound acceptable or terrible..

I play my Gibson CE (nylon) through my DB and with a little tone tweaking sounds good to me. It still has stock speaker.

The only problem I had when I played through a DB was tube rattle. It drove me crazy. I had the tube tamer and used the little round rubber things that go around the tube to no avail. Changed tubes several times. I thought it was a great amp. I just wrote it off as the 15" speaker being too close to the tubes.

I have a Godin Grand Concert SA standard model (not Ambiance) and a Delta Blues with a JBL speaker, and to me it sounds mediocre for nylon strings . It depends on your technique. If you are going for an aggressive Jerry Reed sound then it might work okay, but on the other hand, if it is a softer sound then you might not like it. A better choice could be the Music Man RD 50 with original MM 12" speaker. I have a dedicated Acoustic Image Coda R amp that is best for all my nylon string guitars. They are expensive (around $1,000 used) but it has paid for itself in that I use it for most all my venues and it only weighs 27lbs. It has two channels with Alesis reverb for both and many other beneficial features. I occasionally play my electric Gretsch and Gibson guitars using it, but prefer tube amps for them (usually a MM RD50 with JBL).

The Delta Blues is too heavy for me to transport; therefore, it resides in my small studio as a speaker cab for the JBL attached to a 1966 Fender Pro Reverb amp in it's own cabinet. This way it keeps down tube harmonics and rattle for recording purposes....works great that way for electric guitars.
