How can You find the Year made from the number stamped on the head stock of the custom shop guitar's
This message board is designed for the discussion of guitar-related issues, with particular emphasis on fingerstyle guitar and specifically , the life and music of history's greatest guitar player, Mister Guitar, Chet Atkins

Production run 1981-82. The first 1,000 of these instruments were serialized with a letter + 3 digits: i.e. A 001 – A 100, B 001 – B 100, C 001 – C 100, etc., through K 100
They were serialized in the electronics cavity- you'll see it on the rim when you take off the cover.

Man...I have posted that on this board several times, but never been able to find anyone to send me a picture to support it. I was beginning to think that I had been told wrong...although I remember seeing one with my own eyes. Finally!
Now I can resume working on the grassy knoll thing.
