The Chetboard

I was wondering if anyone had a baritone guitar....I am considering buying a Danelectro baritone,as a novelty type of thing, as it is cheap and might be fun to mess around with. I would use it mostly for flat pickin' on some country guitar stuff...like Wichita lineman, Galveston, The RAce is On,,,and various other types of tunes, where it seems I have heard them being used on. Back in the 60s the music store i taught at used to get an occasional Fender Bass VI, i think they were called, but I never paid much attention to it back then. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated...it appears the B to B tuning is the most common.

I know that Todd Hallawell owns one and watched him perform with it at the CAAS convention in 1999. I don't see him on this board though. You may try to contact him through www.toddhallawell.com
