Effects Loop
Hi, everyone...
I recently ordered a Traynor YCV20WR tube amp to go with my Nashville Classic I got last spring and it comes with an effects loop. I will be using a delay pedal on some tunes and since I'm "technologically challenged", I thought perhaps someone could enlighten me. I was wondering about advantages/disadvantages of connecting the pedal to the effects loop as opposed to simply plugging the guitar directly into it and then a line out to the input jack on the amp. Does it simply sound better generally when you use the effects loop? Of course, I can find out by simply experimenting once I get the amp but, I was just curious as to what those of you who are more knowledgable about such things would have to say. Thanks, Tom W.
