Pick-n-Glider

I hope that this is where it is supposed to be.
I'm thinking about buying one of the Pick-n-Gliders. Anyone else have one and give me your opinion
of them? I'm getting old and I need something that will either put me to sleep or I can enjoy pickin on.

I have one and enjoy it very much. It may do both for you...that is, you may enjoy it too and it may put you to sleep.

I was at Elderly Music in Lansing MI a few years back, and sat down in one and had been on my feet for a long time, and sat down in it and thought man this feels great so I had them ship me one. My weight was lower then, and after I got it and put more weight on I never did like to sit and pick in it. I let my friends use it when they come to pick with me and regular size folks love it. I have got a 24inch bar stool from Wal Mart made by Better Homes and Gardens that is really good for use on stage. Gets you a little higher than a chair,b ut is comfortable and swivels, and is built sturdy. It only costs about $64.00. I gave $309.00 for the Pick N Glider in 2000. EP

I checked with the Guitar Center in Oxnard, CA to find out if any of their stores had one so that I could try it out. But no luck. The manager was nice enough to check with the factory so see if anyone (even GC competitors) had one in southern California but the factory guy wasn't aware of one. Based on some of this sites contributors liking for this chair I might take a chance on one yet. My Lazy-boy chair just isn't suitable for playing guitar but it's OK for my uke which fits between the chair's arms much better.
