It looks from the speaker like it can really carry the bass. Is it a prototype for a future production item?

The speaker is a JBL D-130, just like the orginal amps had. This is a one and only.

It's just like the origninal 1954 model.

Sounds like it to me Al, basically what it is only built by me.

That amp looks fantastic! Great job. How did you go about getting your chassis' made for you?

Alex,
I bent the upper aluminum chassis with a press brake myself. The lower chassis was a standard "Bud box" and I bent the tube guards conected to each side myself. Painted and labeled them myself also.
