Phil, I figured one more would have to get into this

Hey Mike. Chill! Just a little fun at the Chetboard phantom's expense.
Humor. It's an easy concept!

"Although your feelings might have been hurt by the proprietor of this guitar shop, it's not like your wife had admitted that she's faked every orgasm over the past 30-years . . . "

Humor . . .

I've read every post on this thread just to be objective, and for the life of me don't see what's even remotely funny about being thrown out of a guitar shop . . .

So, what next; you gonna go back, kick his ass, then burn his store down for a real chuckle ? ? ?

mike you should not talk about a persons wife. This situation has really become a fun topic so don't mess it up by changing the subject. by the way eddie and phil i love your playing and I'm 100% on your side i said before that the small shop buy my house Knows I'm not there to buy guitar every time I come in. I can play what ever guitar I want We have coffee talk about music I actually consider they guy my friend now. an he lets any one play a guitar even the hand made acoustic. when you buy a guitar it s not because you look up a and see the one that is shinny and didn't have a scratch on it. Its because when you picked it up played the f@## out of it ( which takes more then a minute in half) you felt like it was part of you. some time a person isn't sure that day, and comes make tomorrow and the next day. buying a guitar takes more then a look. its not like going into a coffee shop and ordering of the cuff because you already know what you want. And being rude isn't away to sell anything. If I wad shop and you guys came in i would try to figure out how this could sell a guitar. not to pate myself on the bake but when i play some reed stuff at my buddies shop people ask questions and he evan lets me talk to other customers about what i like in a guitar isn't that crazy!!!! but he never lets me talk about my wife orgasm!!!!! to eddie and phil rock on guys you blow my mind and if this guy dosn't want you to know his name maybe its because he is a spy or a david paul lover !!!! I wish i new how to put one of them little smile face thing like all you guys do

Dang straight! Dat dude only let us rattle off 2-3 songs! We won't put up with that! Or, to put it a different way, up with that we will not put! Plus, those $400 classical's don't matter anyway.

And, by the way, how do we know that is your real name? Just to put my mind at ease....can we see your drivers license? I think the board will agree that we really need to see some ID here.

If it was required here on the chetboard to give my drivers license
at least I would have the courage to do it instead of hiding behind a
screen name. What are you afraid of?
Are you someone else that folks here on the chetboard know by name?

Now, that Paul's no longer with us, I'm sure that Chet's estate is going to take a long hard look to see if there's any valid reason to continue to fund this site's existence.

I know many professional musicians (some very famous) who have visited this site for years, but never post to avoid arguments about what they've done, and how they've done it throughout their careers.

I visit this site to learn from others, and share what I've learned over the years with members of the Chetboard.

The only informative posters on this site were: Paul Yandell, Al Bagetta, Ray Cummins and a few others whom I can't recall at the moment.

If you want to see the CB continue on, you might want to keep posts on topic related to Chet Atkins as I've seen many other sites like this having recently ceased to exist as result of pointless crap threads like this one.

Mike lighten up.

We were just ribbing Heymerle a little.

A man does not bring wives into a disagreement.
But a keyboard gives people more courage than a face to face discussion
does not. Think about it ;)

So to not endanger the Chetboard I will leave the thread to Mike and Heymerle :D

Mike....If it's pointless crap, then why did you comment on the thread?

Most of the threads on the chetboard are off topic and have nothing
to do with Chet. There's almost a brotherhood here on the chetboard and
mostly everyone knows everyone and has even met face to face.
I guess sometimes we all need to keep our two cents in our pockets.
For me......this horse has been beaten to death.
I get ticked off easy and I'm not the type of person to sit back and take it.
Needless to say, the blunt country redneck comes out in me.
I guess that's why I admired Paul......he told it like he saw it.

Now, you and heymerle can start a new thread......I'm done.
