Thanks Chuck. I was afraid of that. lol

Well, I guess I'll have to just break down and take the old one off and install the new one. Then the 'bending' will start
to get the rod just where I need it.

(Sad; I've had this thing (guitar) and never have played it just trying to see if I had a way to do this without taking the strings off)
