Gretsch 1970's gold pickup rings

Anybody know how I can get replacemnet pickup rings for a Gretsch 1973 Country Gentleman, These are gold plated metal not the smaller plastic type. They have adjustment screw's to raise and lower the pickup. Or a reliable place to get them replated. Thanks Skip

Sorry I should have mentioned I live in the Chicago area and I have tried most of the online parts site's and ebay listing's but have only found the plastic replacement ring's.

If you can't find 'em and want to re-plate your existing ones:

1.Look for a plating company that does SMALL LOTS. If you can't find one that you feel comfortable with, contact a local silversmith. AVOID jewelers, as their mark-up will usually kill ya, unless you know someone in the jewelry bizz.

2.Here's how re-plating works: Being platers charge PER LOT, you might be money ahead to consider pulling ALL the hardware to have it done also. I've seen guys send one or two plumbing parts into a plater, later finding out that they could have had the sink & shower fixtures done for the same or a little more money.

3. If you choose to re-plate ALL the hardware, you'll need to COMPLETELY disassemble the tuning machines & Bigsby.

4. Catalog & photograph EVERYTHING prior to TRIPLE-bagging in plastic bags, TAPED closed to insure the zip-loc bag doesn't pop open in transit.

5. When you communicate with the plating company, get the NAME & DEPT. or POSITION of the person you're dealing with, and ONLY deal with THAT person UNLESS told otherwise, and get THEIR NAME & DEPT or POSITION.

6. Get a DIRECT e-mail address for that person, and e-mail them a copy of the catalog inventory & photos PRIOR to negotiating a FIRM price!!!

IMPORTANT ! ! ! . . . BE SURE to note that these parts are NOT easily replaced, so they pay particular attention to keeping a close eye on 'em.

OPTION = You might consider inquiring about having a baked-on clear-coat applied for added durability from skin acids eventually etching the gold plating off.

Thanks for Your input, I checked out blackriderguitars.com and they list having one pickup ring. I need two and would like to see them before I order, because I don't want to get some in worse condition than the one's I have. I did see a new model in the Gertsch line that has the same type of cover. I'll have to check into those model's for replacement part's. I would think Gretsch should have them in stock, and if they do I will post it for other's who may need replacement's also.

remember a line of chet atkins guitars,late 80's or 90's,I believe there were only 40 made and listed for 40k dollars,Musicians friend had them at 25k,I have a very real memory of the add,thinking who would pay 25k for one guitar.Dont remember if it was gibson or gretsch,does anyone know anything? Because my pride,ego and mental health may hinge on some well needed facts,surfed the web very hard ,and no result,almost like I dreamt it.

Yes, there was such a thing- Gibson Chet Atkins Super 4000.

You said You have them, but You never came up with anything, is this a joke or are You serious ? I've asked for picture's so I can tell if they are the right one's. So I guess no reply means You don't realy have them after all.
