Anyone use the Mustang Series amps ?

I was curious if anyone used any of the models of the Mustang amps. I am considering buying the III. I currently own a Roland Cube30 and am happy with it, just itching to buy something new I would use it for a variety of types of music, not just my Chet style stuff. Any feedback would be appreciated as far as reliability, ease of use, etc. Thanks in advance.

Larry, I use the Mustang III. I use setting # 56 (it has 99 of them) because the factory setting has that mellow tone I like. It has all kinds of gadgets built in....all software, but I mostly use it dry. So far, it outperforms two other amps I have. The only negative I have to say about it is is that it is heavy - but other than having one arm longer than the other after I carry a bit - it is great. I used it when you visited. I need to get the 4-position optional footswitch so I can control more of the effects without having to manually reset everthing as I do now with the 2-button switch. It allows you to use both footswitches, so I just need to get the 4-button one and I'll be set up better for a gig or the jam that I go to once a month. It comes with some software that allows mixing and recording - but I haven't messed with that much. One other thing...it has a USB cable to connect to the computer so that ground-hum looping problems are not an issue.

Thanks for the info Terry...I guess I was not very observant that time we got together to pick some...sorry about that. Thanks for the information....I am seriously considering getting one, and I guess I can always use a cart to carry it to the jams that I go to...btw...I have been going to 6 jams a week here in Oklahoma...lots of pickin', nice folks, and some pretty good music...keeps me busy anyway and always working on something new, which I like.
