I just read this biography about Chet Atkins and really enjoyed it. It contained so much info on Chet's life. There was a great amount of detail regarding his recordings and concerts and a lot in information about the people who worked or played in those projects. I found it fascinating. I did have to buy 2 copies, though. I have a HUGE BOZO factor these days. I was loading stuff into the car and put my first copy of the book on the roof until I was done. Yep. I took off with the book still on the roof and I'm sure someone retrieved it off the road. Hope it wasn't too smashed for them to enjoy it. I felt really dumb when I figured out I did that. Enjoyed my second copy, though.

I bought that book several weeks ago, and I read about a third of it during a vacation last week. I'm really enjoying it. It has a lot of details that I find very interesting. I think most Chet fans would enjoy it.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, Bill. The book was full of great detail about family life, recordings, concert tours song writing, and various aspects of Chet's career as an executive. It was so interesting.
