Chet Atkins Super 4000

The Super 4000 at Gruhn Guitars has just been dropped to $15,000. Anyone who was on the fence about
getting this guitar should jump on it. It is miles and miles better than any other Gibson archtop, it's very rare
and collectable. It's a great, great guitar, made for an advanced Chet player!

Actually, that looks a pretty good price here in the UK. Translates to appx £9200 + duty + taxes + shipping. Sadly still to much for me, until I sell a load more guitars. I think I'd have to factor in a divorce too.........! :)

If I even thought about spending $15,000 on a guitar my wife would have my head on a platter. Unfortunately most of us can't afford $15,000 for a guitar. And, even if I did have $15,000 the Super 4000 would be the last guitar I would think about buying. I would put it towards a car.......LIKE A NEW CAMARO OR DODGE CHALLENGER.

Well, with petrol (gas) costing £1.32 per litre currently here in the UK, which approx is $9.75 per gallon, and the tax on it is going up again soon, thanks to our beloved leaders, an american car 'economy' or otherwise is not something I'd be looking at.
Guitars gotta be cheaper to run........! :D :D :D
