Chet loved Don and Phil like sons. This is such bad news. I watched videos of them on Thursday night not knowing Phil was so sick.
They had such unique sound....two blended voices like Angels. Rest in Peace great man...you will be missed...

They were certainly my favorite duo, every duo that I ever worked with tried at one time or another to sound like Don and Phil. My condolences to his family and closest friends. His passing seems to echo once again, the possibility of health related issues due to smoking.

Sad news indeed.....
Condolences to the family and friends.
I never met the man but he always came across as a genuine good person.
His voice never failed him.
So long Phil. You are most definitely missed.
