John Knowles speaks for Classic Country - PBS

I was watching the PBS fund raising special "Classic Country" tonight and when it went to a break John Knowles appeared with a pleasant invitation to viewers to contribute to PBS. John has a great speaking voice in addition to his talents with the guitar. I retired from UNC-TV Network the PBS outlet in North Carolina where we depend on such contributions to sustain programs such as "Classic Country".

Thanks, Ronnie. I've done several of those for our local public station including one for "Chet Atkins And Friends." John

UNC-TV ran that show last year, but I must have missed the break where you spoke. Hopefully they will be repeating it. I have VHS copy I bought before it was released for PBS-TV. I may have recorded it off-air as I usually do when there are good guitar programs on. Thanks again for supporting Public TV.
