Hi guys,
I don't have the opportunity to get on here very much any more. I want to request prayer for my dad, Aaron Cowles, whom some of you may know as he's a custom guitar builder.

He's been feeling under the weather lately and went in for some tests and they've found a mass on his pancreas. I don't have an official prognosis yet, but it sounds as if the outlook is pretty grim. I know the Lord has his time, his reasons and his will, and I certainly don't want to get between God and what He wants to do, but I'd sure like to keep my dad around for a good while longer. So, for those of you who believe in the power of prayer I'd be beholden if you'd lift him up.

Nothing much to report yet but I want to tell everybody thanks for the prayers.

Well, he's had a couple of CT scans and a consultation at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. They say it's Stage 3 cancer of the pancreas. They're going to give him chemo and if it shrinks down they'll irradiate it. I know he's appreciated the prayers and in my family we all know that prayer can change things. Thanks again everybody for the support.
