The Chetboard

First of all let me get this straight, I have ALWAYS respected Chet Atkins, Paul Yandell, fingerstyle guitar in general and been an ambassador for it and this Chetboard. I have bought every album Chet did and every one Paul did. In fact every one any major fingerstyle artist did. Hard earned money spent to support these artist. Now, I want to know exactly WHO is running this board and WHO is altering and then deleting my posts? Did I post something offensive by telling about a new album most here would like to know about..... If you don't like it just don't pay it any attention. There are several here that are posting their material and I am glad and find it informative. It is not any different that what I posted. I have been the victim and will not stand for it. I expect a clear explanation post on WHY my post were deleted, WHO deleted them and what meritt you have over me. Keep it up folks...... you are killing this fine board with this kind of behavior. I don't like it and I have spoke to quite a few that frequent here that don't like it either. In case you don't know...... your opinion is not the only one that matters, just because you don't like a man doesn't mean the next man don't. I am ticked off with this mess that has been going on here. It is unprofessional and I am sure Chet Atkins would not approve. If you are going to pull my honest post then be honest to tell me. Ok I want a true assessment. Anybody else feel this way, stand up and tell your story!

I also have had my posts taken off a bunch and again someone elses opinion seems to be the only CORRECT one. If i post about a guitar player i like someone else ALWAYS seems to compare them to someone else whos is better in THEIR opinion. i was never comparing any guitar players at all. You can like whoever you like,but i cant? Then you have supposed guitar players who think they are big time guitar players and know all the answers to everything telling me and everyone else whats correct. If i say gibson you say gretsch,if i like a humbucking pickup you like a filtertron and you seem to think your always correct. This is getting really really stupid and you whoever you are are totally destroying the board. If your so smart start your own board. I have been told that certain guitar players should get their own board but of all the great players you think are great dont have their own board,they use this one but no one should if you dont like them. I dont know of any and i mean any guitar players that have a board period! Chets the only one! Whoever keeps deleting posts might as well delete every post on the board if its not about chet himself. Then that would be FAIR to everyone on the chetboard. In fact dont even mention anyone else's music.Just delete it like you always do! But be fair and delete them all. If not let everyones opinion be heard and let people help others by using the board for all the great fingerstyle players,they deserve the chance.

Just so you know Merle, David wanted to give the Chetboard the first song from his album and I posted it for him. What happened after that is that it got deleted by the administrator but for what reason. Is that FAIR to him the artist or even FAIR to us the Chetboard users that would love to hear good fresh guitar playing. When other artists post their work it does not get deleted just cause someone in position doesn't like them....... come on how childish. Get over it and lets get on with it.
