Eddie Pennington's Father Passes

Eddie Pennington's Dad passed away today. From Eddie's Facebook page:
My Dad, Norman G. Pennington 89, passed away early this morning after an illness. He was ready to go, and I am at peace that he's in a better place and happier now than he had been recently. His services will be held at the Onton United Methodist Church Thursday at 6:30 pm. The visitation will start at 2 pm at the church. Graveside services will be at 11 am Friday at the Pennington Cemetery, Apex Loop Road Christian County, KY .Many thanks for all the nice words folks have said, it means alot and I appreciate it. I will miss him, and he was my greatest hero, but I know that he is more alive now than he has ever been before and that makes me happy. Thank-you. EP

Losing a father is something we all have to go through...
That doesn't make it any easier...

My deepest heartfelt sympathies and condolences for Eddie and family. I'm sure Mr. Pennington was a fine man. Although he's found eternal he will undoubtedly be missed by many.

Most of us as children of our parents come to this point where we have to say goodbye, and it is never easy. I got along very well with my in-laws. My wife and I lost her mother, then a few years later, her father died. Only one week later, my mother died, and then 4 years later, my father died. My parents and my wife's parents were all very good friends, so they are all together again.

I didn't know Mr. Pennington, but I know Eddie, and knowing what a fine gentleman Eddie is, I just know his Dad had to be the same way. My condolences to Eddie and his family.
