The Chetboard

Just got one of these, and have to say, with either of my Gretsches through it, it sounds very good for Chet picking IMO. The tremolo is also great. You can use with a separate reverb, but I don't really miss the reverb, there are more mids there than with my Fender amps and it sounds very good. Amazing value for money.

Peter, what speaker is installed in it? Many Fender amps have a Jensen speaker. I put one in my Randall RG75G2 guitar combo, replacing the original Celestion, and it sounded much better.

It just says FMIC special design. Possibly Eminence? The magnet is small, but the bass end sounds nice. There is a thread about these amps by BillM (who does amp mods and is checking out this amp,) on the Telecaster forum under amps. He seems quite impressed with it, as are most who've bought it, it seems. It seems a good amp to tweak and fiddle with, if thats your thing!
