You may recall I sent an email to Denny Breau inviting him to the forum.

In the past some of the board guys have been suspicious or downright rude to new posters.

Mind your manners and be welcoming...

This was Denny's response

"...hey thanks for the nice words i'm honored to be considerd tried to register don't know the name of chets wife maybe you can help? all the best denny..."

I provided what he needed to know

I sure hope Denny makes it into the forum Norm.. What a wonderful addition he will be.. Thanks for inviting him.

Now I just hope I didn't spook him by making such a deal out of it.

He may just lurk for a while and see what there is to see...

I love this post, Norm. I tell my 11 year old son everyday when I drop him to school, "Play nice with the other kids!".

Seems we never need to stop being reminded of this.

I was onboard when Paul Yandell first signed on. As I recall, some of the residents all but called him a liar and an imposter. Paul almost shucked the whole idea of posting. Over the years members would get so contentious that Paul would quit posting from time to time.

I often shake my head when people who claim to love and admire Chet don't seem to want to follow the "country gentleman" example he set relating to others.

Denny is such a phemominal guitarist. I'd really love to have him on this forum. I really look forward to it.
