A new Chet tribute album comes out Thursday featuring Vince Gill,Brent Mason and others.
There’ll be a show about the release Thursday night on CMT at 9pm,CDT.

I figured a Chet Atkins tribute album would be a buzz on here -guess not:-(~

Been a lot of years now, but this used to be a busy Chetboard back before Facebook, Twitter, and other sources of information. I'm not sure what it would take to jumpstart it, but it might be worth a brainstorming session at CAAS. I don't have any real ideas, but someone might be able to stir up some thoughts within a group.

I myself, find this message board format clunky and difficult to follow, especially newest posts that are buried among each individual topic sub-directory.

A "Look What's New" page, with links to latest posts within each individual subject matter directory, would be a step in the right direction.

Chet's playing style is too unique and reveared to be forgotten and overlooked, especially after attempting to navigate Chet's YouTube account page that obviously hasn't been completed nor updated.
