I talked with Mike at CAAS and asked if he would get on the Chetboard. Craig Dobbins is great as a Paul replacement but Mike is just as great. From working with Shot Jackson at Baldwin to Chet's Gibson change and he is still a fingerstyle influence at Gibson.

He said that his Gibson relationship was keeping him off but Gibson is not keeping him off and I talked with Tom and he said we aren't.

So let's get him on.

Yes, Mike helped me several times. He is a friendly guy who would be most welcome here. He appeared on TV with Chet when Chet presented Dick Clark with a Gibson CE.

Here he is working on my Gibson CG at the convention when he had an injured wrist...he did the work in spite of it. A great guy!

Mike is the nicest guys you will ever meet. I remember one time the pickup went bad in my Gibson CE. He just sent me a new one for free. Even though the one he sent didn't work well for me I thought it was super nice of him to send me a pickup free of charge. I ended contacting Paul and he sent me a Gibson CE pickup that belonged to Chet....I still have it on my CE.
