Rich, I know you were being humorous, but it's possible for two very skilled soloists to step all over each other's toes when playing together. There's a special skill in knowing "what not to play" and when to play what you ARE going to
play when playing with someone else. I've worked on it for years. Unfortunately, I don't have access to any great soloists to be able to put this into practice very often.
