Hello gentlemen, long time no see. I ran across an enormous bunch of 78 rpm recordings, over 400,000, on archive.org and thought I'd share on the off chance others haven't seen it. There could be a lot of interest: old hawaaian, jazz, blues, country, sea chanteys, you name it. The link is:

On the left side there is a search box. I entered Chet Atkins and 80 odd recordings came up. I've heard many of them, but several I've not. There are several with Chet's sister Billie Rose singing for example as well as familiar arrangements that appear to be different from LP versions I've heard but I could be mistaken about that. There's a boatload of Merle Travis too. Anyway, it's more Chet and we can all agree that's a good thing.
Re: Chet 78 recordings and huge 78 archive
WOW, I cant thank you enough, Paul. I never knew this web-site existed. I have already spent an hour looking and listening to the recordings and I may be here all night. Thanks again.
