Nashville Now shows

Postby emjaybee94 » Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:40 am

Just noticed this on UTube. Appears to be most of Chet's appearances on Nashville Now between 1983 - 88 .... two and three quarter hours of great picking, some of which I have never seen before.

Thank you so much for posting this! I'm really enjoying it. I missed all those shows as I didn't have access to cable tv in my neighborhood in those days.

I guess Chet was in his early to mid=sixties when doing these shows. I always felt he did some of his best work during that time period before his cancer came back.

Rich, I've been to so many of his concerts between 1969 and 1999, that I've watched the gradual decline and yes most of it was during those last few years. However, the most "mistake free" concert I ever saw was in Pasadena in 1992 when I took Mickey Rooney's wife Jan with me. I paid special attention to portions of songs where I had heard mistakes in the past and they were perfect that night. That was also the night that he introduced Pat Bergeson to us.
