Why have there not been any books dedicate to Jerry Reeds life and music? A good book is long over due in my opinion.

I agree! I always liked and admired Jerry Reed since he came on the scene in the 60's and mostly stayed there. What a talent!

About the only thing close is Michael Stevens book.

The thickness of the book is deceiving just a warning.
The book is hard to follow with sentences and punctuation.
Very few pictures and is mostly reference to his studio work and cuts.
Nice book to have but honestly.....poorly done.

A book like the ones the Cochrans did on Chet and Les is what needs to be done.

Eddie, I just bought that book that Phil recommended. It's thick like a Sears catalog! I agree that a book like Russ Cochran's book on Chet would be the best!
