Eddie Pennington's "Chasing My Tail"

While a Christmas song would be more appropriate given the time of the year, I figure that with *all* that's going on around the world these days that perhaps this tune, given it's title, would be more apropos.

The tab is from Eddie's recording on his great lp "Just My Style" (with Cary Black on bass). And it'll be well recognized by regular CAAS attendees. I also used this youtube video by Palmer Moore to try and get the fingering positions.

While I have no claims that the tab (attached) is 100% accurate, it'll get you in the ballpark (or at least into left field). I've forgotten what tab online program was used so if you use it don't pay too much attention to the musical timing. But I think the tab portion is pretty close. Also note at m.30 is where Eddie plays the single note section. He may also have some other notes going on too, but given the bass backup, what and how escapes me.

I also titled the author of the tune as "Anonymous" because I don't know it Eddie wrote if or is covering it from some other player like Merle Travis, Ike Everly, etc. No matter, a great tune and, per norm, great playing by Eddie.

Also, please note that the first two intro measures of the tune aren't on the youtube video which kicks in about m. 3 or so. But they are on the recording.
