The Chetboard

I love this! I've watched quite a few of this guy's videos. His channel is very cool. You suggest guitar videos for him and he watches them and analyzes the playing.

But he is not critical. So it's not a critical analysis, but an appreciation for the guitarist's ability and an explanation of their technique.

And the amazing thing is that he seems to appreciate ANY STYLE of truly great guitar playing. Watch the looks on his face. Pure pleasure!

Thanks Doug for sharing that! It's really nice seeing a young guitar player really appreciating Chet's playing like that both in the way he describes the high level he's playing at but also seeing his eyes light up seeing and hearing what Chet does on guitar.

Thanks Doug. I had never seen anything like this guitarist's analyse of other guitarist's technique. Also I hadn't seen that performance of Chet and Mark before. Very interesting.

Y.W. I really dig this guy's channel. I've watched a bunch of his videos. He always seems to show an appreciation for our Mr Guitar, and to boot, his analysis is quite intelligent. He really knows what he's talking about.

You can suggest any guitar video to him that you want. Sure must keep him busy!

I've also watched him analyzing Chet and Jerry pickin' together as well as Les Paul and Roy Clark.

He gets a look of pure pleasure on his face, and you can tell he's groovin' to the music.

He likes ALL genres of guitar playing.

Just for the fun of it, I'm gonna suggest a classical guitar video to him. If he can manage to keep his eyes on the guitar!
