This was also on the main stage at the convention and Audie did an original song which was a tribute to Paul Yandell, Jerry Reed, Chet, etc. and those who had influenced him.

That was great! Wonderful lick. Starts off sounding exactly like "Baby's Comin' Home," then takes off in a whole 'nother direction!

Doug and Ray, if you knew Audie he is so modest and the opposite of a self promoter but still very comfortable on stage. I felt that I wanted to help expand the world's awareness of him. I really don't feel that there are many, if any, at the convention who could do what he does any better than he does!

He just sat in the audience and waited for someone to ask him to play for the first few years I attended CAAS... Oh, Terry Wedding asked him a few times - but, I'm not sure it was to play... LOLOL
