Posted: Mon Jul 30, 2018 9:03 amBill, I'm not sure if the tip of your tongue was on the inside of your cheek, but I could never afford a live band. There is somewhat of a learning curve when it comes to "tweaking" Band in a Box, but even with the basics, it's pretty impressive.
Also, living in a little A-Frame cabin in the woods, THIS IS my "studio"!

Posted: Mon Jul 30, 2018 10:34 amI enjoyed this, Rande. I have had some fun with Band In A Box doing Ventures covers, Duane Eddy Covers, and things like that over the years. I never thought to use it with finger style songs for some reason. I think I'll give it a whirl and see what happens. You did a great job with the backup band.

Back around '80-81, I took some guitar lessons from a friend who had a 4-piece band. It was he and his brother playing guitars and singing. They had a guy playing bass, and then there was "Chip", the drummer. It was interesting to hear them introduce the band and point out the electronic drum machine (Chip, short for microchip). Of course, more people have done the BIAB setup since those days, and then some have also done a little "Milli-Vanilli" pickin' as well. So there are more options today. "Tongue in cheek"? Who, me?
Anyway, keep up the good work!
