I'm looking for a photograph of Chet with his D'Angelico for The Project. I need one that has the selector switch on it.

(The guitar had a period around 1954 where that switch was taken off the guitar. I have good shots of that phase.)

Most of the common pictures you see online and in magazines are expensive to license and I just can't afford to pay the fees. I'd like a clear shot of him holding or playing the guitar that shows the selector switch if possible.

Lacking that, a good, glare free, shot of the guitar as displayed at the HOF would suffice but I have to be fussy. It's for the Paul Yandell biography and I need the best shot of the D'Angelico with the selector switch I can get.

Along with my gratitude you'll get a "Photo courtesey of _____" credit line in the book.

Thanks...

Hi Norm. there's a picture of that guitar in the Me And My Guitars Chet book. If you don't have it I could try and scan it to you. Joeb

I can't just copy a photo that's in a book or online. Someone owns that photo and wants a royalty paid to licesnse it. Fees for use run anywhere from 75.00 upward.

Right now my Project is a work in progress. I don't have the backing of a publisher yet.

Some archival sources like the hall of fame charge a fee just to do a search for what you want
