I have started recording myself and learning Garage Band.

Recording myself has humbled me quick.
I have heard all kinds of mistakes that I guess I ignored.
Should have started doing this years ago!!!!!!

Boy do I know THAT feeling!

I'm such a klutz I was never able to get a decent recording of myself using analog tape. I use Audacity now so it's possible to edit and, better, to erase/rewind more easily and accurately.

But still... my audio samples...none of them are one session wonders.

I just never realized some of the bad habits I picked up and never paid attention to.

Timing, muffled notes. Man listening to yourself is trial by fire.

It's like an audio camera and cameras don't lie

Photshop does. The audio equivilant is punch ins to spot fix your mistakes
