Craig Dobbins' long out of print Jerry Reed book appears to be back in print! I've just ordered a copy and I'm sure that, at $22.99 + shipping, many will want to do the same.

Thanks for that info! I just put my order in.

I went on the Hal Leonard website, and couldn't find any reference to it being in print, nor could I find any other merchants with it for sale. That being said, I placed an order for it this morning, hoping that maybe they just had some old ones in stock...but I have a gut feeling I will be getting an email saying they are no longer carrying that title.

I hope I am wrong!

I want the book but I was hoping it would have an accompanying CD, because I need all the help I can get with Jerry Reed style compositions.

I've talked with Rick about this. I haven't heard anything about a reissue of the book, so we'll have to wait and see. As George said, it isn't listed in the Hal Leonard catalog, and does not appear to be available anywhere else. It could be that sheetmusicplus has some remainder copies, or it might just be a link that needs to be taken down. Guess we'll know soon enough.

Rich, a cassette (later a CD) was available with the original book, when ordered directly from me.

Well, a week has passed since I ordered, and my order is still pending....it's not looking very encouraging.

Sorry, false alarm. The Jerry Reed book, published by Hal Leonard, remains out of print.

By the way, I've been listening to your cd, and I am digging it! You are playing some outside stuff, but I think it sounds great! The time signatures on some of the cuts reminds me of some of my favorite Beck cuts. Were you playing the tele on the cover of the cd?
