Here is a Chet fan club photo.
Paul's wife said she thought it was Paul and Odell Martin on the left side of the picture.

Marie is probably right. That sure looks like Paul. That's a great pic, Eddie. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Looks like his '59. Certainly is his Standel back there

From what I can see of that guy sitting to Paul's left (1st photo), his hair and the profile of his forehead, it does appear to be O'Dell Martin - - I believe that's him!

Eddie and all...that is me on the left side of the first photo. My Dad took those photos at the '59 Fan Club Convention that was run by Margaret Fields. This was the session where he recorded "Boo Boo Stick Beat", and the group clapped their hands to the beat after a few tries. The third photo I know nothing about. There were 5 photos, and they are in one of the CAAS quarterly magazines, and some of you guys must have it. That was a thrill of a lifetime, and yes that is his '59 Country Gent. Maybe there are others there who are still with us, and can add to this. I don't remember Paul Yandell being there. I'm fairly certain that he was already playing the Opry with the Louvin Brothers, but I could be wrong.

Ron,,,isn't that something? I was agreeing with Marie,,,,I swear it looks like O'Dell from what I could make out.

Ron has a point...

Maybe Micah or Marie can sort it out but I think Paul got drafted in 1958 and after that he went with Kitty Wells with another short hitch with the army. If that photo was taken in 1959 it is likely Paul was in the Army in Germany

I'm the one with the glasses, on the left side, and the guy to my left with the checkered shirt is a friend that came with me. You can't see much of him. The fellow to my right, I don't know.
