Laurence Juber on Between the Lines With Barry Kibrick

I just watched on my local PBS channel KLCS a 1/2 hour show about Laurence Juber. He is a great fingerstyle player although not exactly in the vein of Chet Atkins. He was a studio guitarist in England and then was Paul McCartney's guitarist in his post Beatle band Wings. Among other things, he told how Blackbird (a Beatles song) is related to Bach's Bourree through Chet Atkin's version of it on his album Hi-Fi in Focus. Who would have thought it? Anyway I hope some of you can see it on PBS or go to Barry Kibrick's website and maybe pick see it. I was fortunate enough to see and hear Juber play at the Coffee Bean Backstage many years ago in Altadena, CA, where I also got to see at different times Richard Smith, Pat Donohue, and Tom Bresh.

I hope we get to see that show. He plays great. I don't know if you ever watched "Home Improvement" or not, but I think he played the theme song on that show a few years. It was a neat song. Thanks for the info.
